I want to replace the cord on my Kitchenaide K-45 mixer but can't figure out how to take it apart? I have it removed from its stand and the back plate is off but can't figure out how to separate the body. Thanks for your help.
Hi -- I have the same problem -- any chance to get a manual so that I can repair the unit -- living in the middle east there is no service center
