how can i fix my sony ericsson k610i?

i turned my phone off last night to change the sim card but when i tried to turn my phone back on a red light at the top just flashed and the phone will not turn on please help? the phone is a sony ericsson k610i

This is a common flaw of Sony Ericsson handsets- make sure your battery is fully charged (charge it on another handset) then go to sonyericsson site & download SEUS -then update the software via the USB cable that came with your handset-update through their website...please NOTE: all your data/pictures/numbers will be lost when you update the firmware. Also it may identify you have latest firmware & do you wish to continue...just click on continue. (also read the tutorials if youre unsure how to use the service)
