Stop Peugeot 106 Sunroof Leaking?

My K reg Peugeot, whilst great in general, lets in some water when rained on. I usually try and remember to flip the seats forward when rain expected, otherwise get damp bottom when sitting down! Have tried cleaning all around the seal to make better join, but that's all. Should I get new neoprene seal and replace? Or what? Thanks.

my 1997 106 sunroof leaked. I found out that the seal was fine but the seal is stuck in position by an adhesive (i.e. black tiger seal adhesive). The adhesive drys like a rubber seal and it was this the adhesive that had broken letting in the rain water. I was told by a guy from peugeot to take the sunroof out and pull the sunroof seal off and clean it and peal off the rest of the adhesive that is under the sunroof seal. This adhesive looks like rubber and just peels off. When it's off clean all around and let it dry. When dry and also the sunroof seal is dry put a thin bead of tiger seal around the sunroof where the sunroof seal sits, then put the seal back in place. I waited for a few hours after this to allow the adhesive to dry - don't know if you have to or not but didn't want to wreck all my hard work. Then put my sunroof back in place.

I hope this can help some of you out there as i was getting piss*d on for over a year, now i'm dry.

you can replace the seals but even if the seal is rubbish there are 2 plastic pipes that are hidden behind the roof lining that should drain them away. it's most likely these are either blocked or disconnected. this means instead of the water running down the pipes and out of the car the water just collects in ur car, ie foot well is most common place. it's not that hard a job to fix, if u wanna have a go urself undo the sunroof glass with a couple of torx screw drivers (star shaped), then do the same to your sunroof frame, and you should see (at the front corners of the sunroof) there are 2 holes, 1 on each side where the water should drain. from inside the car by taking down the roof lining the pipes should run down each pillar. clean them up and put back together, when you put the frame back in, some rubber sealant around the edge will do no harm either :D
