7 safe means that you have a maximum of 7 attempts left in which to enter the correct security code.you also have a waiting period between attempting to re-enter the code again if you get it wrong.

attempt 3-wait 10 minutes(display shows 8 safe)
attempt 4-wait 20 minutes(display shows 7 SAFE)

to imput code turn ignition on,press and hold as button,switch on radio,keep as button pressed in until 4 dashes appear,may take some time,see above for an idea of how long,then press button 1until the first digit you require appears,then same again with buttons 2,3 +4.once your code is in press and hold as button again. i've borrowed these answers off VAUXHALLOWNERSNETWORK,as you own a vauxhall i recommend you try them for any future problems as they are brilliant!!!!
