hotpoint wf 440p where is the filter?

I've got the wf440. The waster filter is annoyingly at the back under the drum. It's a rubber seal held on by a cir clip. Inside is a perforated cup and ball where all the debris goes - for me was several coins, hairclips and labels. Hope that helps ...
