I bought this 1997, 1.6 car a few weeks ago. The fuel gauge,
front & rear sreen wash and the rear windscreen heater all don't work. I've checked all fuses in glove compartment and under bonnet, all are perfect. I've also a copy of the Haynes Repair Manual. Thanks Steray for your reply. The rear windscreen heater, I've checked the relay clinking when operate switch but have now located the fault. One of the windsreen heater terminal has come loose. As for the fuel sender, I've linked the supply terminal (under back seat) to earth but no reaction on the fuel gauge. Do both the sender & the windscreen washer have relays. Non are shown in the Haynes ? Thank You
