Mend Netgear Router Install Computer

How can I connect my netgear router?

I got my partner a netgear router for Christmas, afer installing it, the computer is looking for a dial up service, how can I cure this, before I chuck it all through the window??

Thanks for the info it helped, what didn,t help was being given a wrong setting by my isp

It's nothing to do with the Router its your PC. It depends on what Operating System that PC has and you don't say what it is. Try looking at your Network settings or sometime even your Internet Explorer Settings an check the box that says Never Dial a Connection.
