cam belt, peugeot 306 td 1998?

Can you tell me how often the cam belt needs changing, mileage intervals. Many thanks.

Peugeot Peugeot 306 TD Vehicles, Cars Cam Belt Td

Peugeot recommend that the belt is changed every 72000 miles,mate - or at 60000 miles 'under adverse conditions' whatever that means (frequent starts and stops I think). Personally I do them at 60k as a failure means a trashed engine.
