Mend Fiat Punto Diesel Lights Start

deisel punto everything flashing?

battery clicks, but won't turn over.
all internal lights flash on and off, speedo and temp gauge go mad,city light flash ,but will not start.
no problem yesterday ,but i did notice headlights seem dimmer

Fiat Fiat Punto Vehicles, Cars Diesel Lights Start

it sounds like a flat battery,but you need to check if the alternater is working so get a jump start and ask local garage or halfords the test charge rate with a multymeter it should read between 13 to 14.5 volts but i expect its just the battery espiecally if the battery is old ,cold weather finishs them off good luck
