Mend Hoover HNV170-80 Tumble Dryer Model Drum

Hoover Tumble Dryer Model HNV170-80?

How do I fit a new drive belt. I cannot get the belt around drum and fit it between the 2 tension pulley's and onto the centre spindle of the drive motor, the tension on the 2 pulley's seems to be to strong. Is there some method to solve this problem. The belt I have is Hoover part number 40001012

Ihave changed belts before, but not on that model. There must bean adjuster on one of the pulleys, or near it. Hope this is of some help.
