Hi Jeff

What year is your AP50?

If it is the same as the 2-stroke ones I serviced in the late seventies and early eighties, then you can use 20w50 engine oil (if you can still get it).

As I recall there was always an indication on the gearbox oil filler cap as to the gearbox capacity.
