how can i insert my code astra mk3?

I have an Opel and if your Astra has a AS button.

1.Switch on the ignition.
2. Switch off the radio.
3. Press the AS buttton and hold down.
4. Switch the radio on and keep the AS button down until you hear a beep.
5. The word "Code"appears with _ _ _ _.
6. Enter your code by pressing the 1 2 3 4 buttons. You press the 1 button until your first # appears. For example you press the 1 button once and 0 appears, twice and 1 appears. keep going until your code is there and then press the AS button again.
