Mend JVC Television Remote Power

Standby/Power Lamp is flashing and tv will not turn on?

The Power Lamp is flashing but the tv will not respond to either the remote hand set or the tv buttons. The tv is approx 3 yrs old and this is the first problem encountered.

Has anyone experienced similar problems, is there a JVC help line?

Is this an LCD rear projection TV? if it is, you need a new lamp for it ... they cost a lot. You'd call any retail store that sells JVC gear and ask them to order one. Get the serial number off the back of the TV.
