How can I make the drawer on my dvd work?

The drawer on my Panasonic dvd came out, but it will not go back in. I have read the instruction bookled thoroughly, but cannot find a solution.
It is a Panasonic DVD/CD Player -

I unscrewed all the screws that hold the top of the dvd on. I managed to get the drware to open by a bit of "jiggling". I`ve had no probs since.
