what is the fuse rating for my panisonic dvd recorder dmr-es30veb. i think this is the problem it has stopped working. i have changed the plug fuse. please help.
take the outer casing off and follow the mains cable to the circuit board.where the blue and the brown wires are soldered to the board you will see a 5 amp fuse.check to see if the fuse is intact,if its ok,then you have a failed component/s on the power side.check the three 24uf capacitors visually for bulging or venting on the tops.that's all you can do really without getting too technical .

should be 13amp, but make sure that the fuse that you have replaced it with is working ,
