Hotpoint Aquarius VTD00 Tumble Dryer?

To check if thermostats are dud and you have no meter to check them...... pull terminals off thermostat and connect both terminals together with a temporary wire between them and switch on if thermostats are faulty the element should heat up...... had the same problem with mine .

hi you could have a problem with either the thermostats or the element, the thermostat and element are easy to get to if you remove the cover on the back of the machine you should see the element inside the cover all you will need to do is take the wires off the 2 small thermostats and test for continuity across each one if none then its dead and to test the element test for continuity across the rings be sure to turn off and unplug before starting if you need any help or parts i may be able to help further bladesy2005@btinternet.com
