white knight wk447 dead as a doornail?

My White Knight WK447 suddenly stopped working. Now when you turn the control knob round nothing (and I mean *nothing*) happens. First thought was the fuse in the plug, but that's OK. Followed by hitting the trip switch on the back, but still nothing. Maybe the switch that tells it the door's open is shot, but it failed in the middle of a programme.
