I have a proseries digital anwering system phone from ge model # 29985A. I lost the manual and I would like to be able to check my msg from another phone. Do you know the default code that I can press from another phone to access the msg's. Thank you.

we have this phone and I used to dial into the machine often let me see if I can remember:
dial your home phone number
when the machine picks up, dial * or (#?) you'll hear a tone, then quickly dial the 3 digit security code you set up in your phone. (when you set day/date/time, security code follows. )
the machine will tell you what to press to hear your messages.
