Mend JVC HA-G55 Problem Approx Years

Repairing JVC HA-G55 headphones?

I am having a problem with my (approx. 1.5 years old) JVC headphones, the problem seems relatively simple; it's just a connection problem where the cord enters the headphones, since when I move it around I can fix the problem. I've worked with electronics before and feel confident that I can fix the problem if I can get to it, but I can't. I cannot find a way to access the inside of my headphones and I'm getting really frustrated.

If you remove the cushioning off of the speakers you can easily acces the inside by removing 2 screws, have fun
