Casio SPF-40: How do I activate the watch after Battery Replacement?

I have replaced the 4 batteries that go into my Casio SPF-40 (Model No. 2273) watch with new equivalent batteries. There is a sticker on the inside of the watch that says: "After battery replacement contact AC to with battery (+) using tweezers." I think this is some way of re-activating the watch as I have replaced the batteries and there is no sign of life. Does anyone know how to re-activate the watch or how to "contact AC to battery (+) using tweezers? I am stuck without my watch and any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Tony.

Just done this myself today:-
1) Activating watch - do exactly as the label says! You will see an arrow pointing to the appropriate pin - use tweezers or wire to quickly "flash" that pin to the battery positive (I used the case of one of the inner two cells - easiest to get to).
2) The cover for the inner pair is released by using a pin to lever out the single clip on one side (the edge nearer the centre of the watch) The whole clip then unhooks from the other side (two hooks). The outer two batteries are similarly released, but each clip only releases from the one side - lever it up VERY gently and slide the battery out. I found it easier to replace these two before the inner pair.

I am afraid I do not know the answer, but I have not even been able to replace the four batteries. I can see the batteries, but they are locked in place by a thin metal assembly of spring clips. How to I get past the clips to remove the batteries ?
