Mend JVC AV36D503 Light Ago Problem

JVC TV has blinking light?

I have a JVC TV model # AV36D503 I bought it about 5yrs. ago
Till now I have never had a problem with it.The other night my wife and I were watching TV and it just went out.I have a timer on light on the front of the TV that just keeps blinking.Is their anything I can do to fix it myself or am I going to have to pay a big bill to get it fixed.Please help I don`t want to buy a new TV.Thank You
