Buy a chilton auto repair manual. I have many of them and they are indespensible. Check your head lights, are they nice and bright, a good sign of a charged battery. Do they go dim when you try to start the vehicle? . Could be an internally shorted battery or seized starter. Put a volt meter on the battery and turn on the lights, Voltage shouldn't drop below 12 volts or so. If OK then try tapping the starter with a piece of wood ( 2x4) ets, Not too hard though. If this works you may need to replace the starter. Get a second opinion before you spend any money. One more thing, The vehicle dealers parts departments are usually quite helpful in troubleshooting these things. Hope this helps.
