My Whirlpool Washer will not spin. The drive belt looks ok. The rubber & plastic piece between the motor & the drive assembly has a broken plastic piece. Is this a broken motor coupler? How difficult is it to replace this part? Thank you
whirlpool washer -- agitator is leaning and makes a noise at the end of the spin cycle. three thuds and then stops.

Hello,
If your washer has a plastic coupler it is a direct drive washer and therefore does not have a belt. If the coupler is broken it needs to be replaced and is very cheap. Not a hard job by all means. You just have to take the cabinet off then unclip the pump and motor and pull the motor out of the gearbox and that will give you access to the coupler. A broken coupler will give you a no spin/no agitate symptom.
