Mend Whirlpool RMC305PDQ1 Wall Oven Door

Whirlpool wall oven RMC305PDQ1 door hinge replacement?

I have new hinges, Part No. WPL-4455525, for my 20-year old Whirlpool wall oven/micro combination, Model RMC305PDQ1. I removed the old hinges, reinstalled the new hinges on the door. When do I remove the metal pins that are keeping the hinge in position -- before reinstalling the door, or after the door is back on the oven?

I figured this one out! The little pins are impossible to get out before replacing the door onto the oven. However, once the door is back in place, I pulled the door fully open. The pins just pushed out by fingertip. Hurrah!
