Mend JVC DR-MH30S Power Supply Mode

JVC DR-MH30S. Power supply switch mode driver/IC?

After a mains power surge the switch mode power supply failed in a spectacular fashion. On inspection the driver/IC had blown itself to bits taking with it the part umber. Can someone assist by providing the actual component number or description. The description of the component on the circuit board is IC5101. Is it possible to obtain a maintenance manual for this model.

I had a look and yours would be just under $20 (£10). They are in pdf format so you will need a suitable reader.
