Mend Electra EL5R Fridge Working Power

How can I fix an Electra EL5R refrigerator?

The Electra EL5R fridge has stopped working. Power is getting to the frige okay as the light is working. There is no problem with door seal and there is no sign of burning/decay at the back of the fridge

Mabe its your thermostat, try tapping it first. If not unplug and dimantle and short out the wires together. Carefully try again and see if it starts, if yes then itd the stat so replace. If not, then its the motor which may cost more that the fridge to repair! Take care as you as working with 240volts.
