Mend ghd wide plate Changed Fuse Thought

help with my ghd wide plate?

hi there
i have changed the fuse of my ghd with 13 amp yesterday as i thought it could be fuse that has stopped working, still no luck. only thing is original was 3 amp and i tried with 13 amp. do you think that could be the reason it did not work. please helpppppppppppppp

That's not the reason, but before you plug in again take the 13 amp out and replace the 3 amp one.
A common problem with these is where the mains cable enters the body of the straightners. I usually remove the swivel mechanism and solder direct to the pads. No more problems.
