How can I repair my Scunci Steamer Model SS-100O?

Scunci Steamer Model SS-1000. It worked the first time I tried to use it, but not since. Water was placed in the tank.

Red light comes on, but it does not heat up nor produce steam. Where can I have it checked or repaired?

I'm sorry I don't have the answer. I'm actually writing to say I have the same problem with mine. I was trying to find the answer to this very question. In reading other comments on this steamer, I believe that answer will be difficult to find. Apparently the Scunci company only deals with hair care products and no longer makes steam cleaners. A consumer called their 1-800 # to get some questions answered and that's what was told to them. I'm not sure if that's a fact but, it is what I read. Good luck to you.

As for myself...I'll probably just get a different one all together. Seems like it would be less of a hassle.
