Mend Peugeot 406 Estate Fan Ignition Runs

i have a peugeot 406 estate and fan runscontinuously?

when the ignition is switched off the fan runs and never stops unless i remove the battery terminal. Is this a relay or thermostat?

Guess by now you will have fixed this problem but it is a relay switch which fuses together so the circuit cannot be broken. Had this happen myself.
