light stays on hard drive and disk door/tray will not open?

hard drive motor continues to run, monitor screen displays box stating self test etc. have tried to unplug and monitor and computer both please help thanks

If you face the disk door, you should see a little hole (a pin prick). If you push the hole your Drive should open.
