How do I raise pressure level on my Vaillant Ecomax 828/2E boiler?
The pressure level on my boiler has dropped to zero so it won't fire up. I think I can raise the level by turning a valve but I don't know where it is or which one it is - can anyone help please?
2 Black levers on RHS. Turn both 90 deg and watch the pressure build to 1. bar. Then shut them both off.
Then hold down the crossed out flame button for a few seconds and the boiler should fire up.
That's what I did, and it worked :)

I am renting a flat short term and I have also had this problem. Thank you so much for the answer. I am now warm again!

depending on how old boiler is there is either 1 or 2 screwdriver slots under boiler. if only 1 slot then this is just to right of centre and slot will be pointing front to back of boiler. if there is 2 then other will be to the right of first slot. observe guage whilst filling. dpmartin17@aol.com

The boiler will have a loop fill on the cold water supply, it should have a isolation valve ( 3 inch joint with a flat screw in the middle ) and then a short flexi pipe with a blue valve connecting to the boiler, you need to open this a bit to allow water in to the heating system. While you do this look on the screen on the boiler and you should fill it to 1bar to 1.4bar pressure and no more.
