Why wont washer work after wash cycle is complete?

I have a whirlpool ultimate care II and it stops after the wash cycle is complete. I have tried all different cycles and nothing seems to work!! Help! I have a washer full of soapy clothes!

try having the wiring harness underneath replaced. By that, i mean the part that protudes into the washer off the lid, it hits a connection underneath. it sounds like that piece underneath is what is broken. i just had to replace mine, as it was doing the exact same thing yours is. it will cost you about $30 to replace it, if you know of anyone who will do the job for you.
