Mend Craftsman 917.257644 Tractor Clutch Lawn Mower

Where to attach clutch return spring on Craftsman 917.257644 Tractor?

The clutch return spring broke and is gone (part 105709X). I've gotten a new one but can't figure out where to attach it. The diagram in the owners manual is useless. Thank you.

Craftsman Craftsman 917.257644 Garden Tools, Lawn Mowers Tractor Clutch Lawn Mower

It connects to the frame just past the engine on the right side. Look for the oval hole in the frame.
If you happen to have an owners manual that you could email to me I could really use one.
