how can i fix my codless kettle?

My mother's kettle just displayed the same fault. Power indicator on kettle lights up, but kettle fails to boil - it's most likely to be a failed element or switch. In our case it turns out the element had failed & a spare element will cost about £8 inc delivery. If it's a fairly cheap kettle, it's probably cheaper & easier to buy a replacement!

Come on Angus Kettles do infuriate buyers and cause typing errors! and I am one infuriated Kettle buyer.

Cleo you do not mention the make of your Kettle so it could be difficult to put you on the right tracks.

Im nit sure, have you tried changing the fose? alternatively it may be down to over fishing and depleted stocks in your kitchen...
