How do I replace an oven door seal?

How do I replace the seal round the lower oven door of my Zanussi FM56 electric oven? I have looked at the old one and it seems clamped to the surrounding metal somehow. I can't see how to remove it without pulling it off or how to attach the new one. Can anyone help?
