HOW DO I STOP MY BOILER EMERGENCY VENTING?

I HAVE A FERROLI F 24 B COMPACT BOILER. IT DROPPED PRESSURE BELOW 1 BAR WHEN I REPRESSURISED IT THE GUAGE SWELLED TO 4BAR QUITE QUICKLY. THE EMERGENCY VENTING PUMP HAS KICKED IN. THIS STARTED AT 10.30 PM IT IS STILL GOING NOW HAVE LOOKED IN THE MANUAL NOTHING, HAVE SWITCHED OF ELEC AND WATER NOTHING HAVE CLOSED FILLING LOOP NOTHING IT IS NOW 5.30AM I CANT SLEEP THERE IS NO SIGN OF THIS CHANGING SOON. ITS BANGING AWAY LOUD ENOUGH FOR MY NEIGBOURS TO HEAR AND THE JOINT ON THE EMERGENCY VENT PIPE IS LEAKING. i NEED HELP!!

Ferroli Heating, Home Heating Systems Ferroli Dropped Pressure

After 24 hours and a sleepless night of the boiler venting out I have solved the problem. Ferroli cant come out for 40 hours no joy there....turned off electric supply-no joy there either!

Turn off the flow to taps to boiler. Find the radiator with the MT cock (see image on google type in MT Cock) attach hose to nozzel, if cock is inside and trail it out where it can release water into a drain. Using a pair of pliers open the valve using the square nut on top (turn anti-clockwise). 3/4 open not all the way out. The banging stopped immediately for me although I am waiting for the pressure to drop to 1.5 bar. It looks like this could be some time. Here is looking forward to a good nights sleep. Michael S.
