how can i fix my potterton mini minder e switch?

My bolier only works when hot water and heating on but not all the time can anyone help as it's getting cold and I have kids

check out in your area for council vans putting new heating in the houses and speak to the sparky they only throw the old ones away and keep a few for spares in the vans

I don't know if you tried this but ours was doing the same not turning off whatever we did so I by chance put my hand on the instruction book and it said to reset push the + and - under the clock together for 2 seconds and it will reset we did this and it has worked, not sure if this will solve problem long term but it beats having to go out today and spend £50+ on a new control panel good luck

you nee a potterton EP2002 about £55.00 from plumb base fairly straight forward to install.

Hello Keith! the problem you discribe is very common to the Mini Minder E clock when its worn out, this model is no longer made and is not repairable, all existing stocks were bought up by the trade a long time ago, the only answer is to have the clock replaced with a different model and wired accordingly.
