How can I stop our accenta g3 burglar alarm from randonly going off?

any no. of reasons for this to be happening, yes 1st check battery and yes you can replace it easily, when you open the main box the alarm will sound and you silence it in the normal way, your box will only accept a 12volt 2.1 amp battery which you can get from a security supplier. install battery red lead to red terminal ect ect. Close box reset system. If problem persists then it could be bellbox problems or cabling or spikes on system but that would also give random zone triggers too.
