Mend Baxi System Heating Water Time Hot Hear

Air in system?

The heating is ok but the water takes a long time to get hot. I can hear a noise and i think its air in the hot water part of the system. i have bled the radiators but i dont know where to bleed the water part. It is an old BAXI on the wall. Not a combi.
Can anyone tell me where and how best to bleed the water system?

Thanks in advance

Alan, have you tried bleeding the pump by unscrewing the large silver screw on the pump itself while its running? Don't unscrew it all the way as it'll fall out and you'll have water everywhere. Also have a look to see if there is a single pipe in your immersion tank cupboard which appears to be going nowhere .... is there a cerrated screw on the end of it? undo it and you might get some air out of that. Keep a towel handy.
