Mend Hotpoint Mistral Plus Flashing Fridge Freezer

E1 error message on hotpoint mistral plus?????

There is a flashing message "E1" on our hotpoint mistral plus frost free fridge freezer. The freezer does seem a bit frosty at moment but temperatures feel ok although we cannot see a temp reading on outside as normal. Can anyone help?
