how can i fix alarm?

we have got a optima xm alarm system and it has developed a fault on it when we key in our alarm number to set alarm it just keeps beeping and shows zone 4 lit up red were it just bleeps normally and alarm sets i have tried removing battery to set it back to factory settings but it never worked has anyone got any ideas to help thanks
