I have the same problem, my 50e just decided not to light this morning. I've had the face off, the fan is running at the top but no ignition. The overheat stat switch seems to be loose and not working but it's always been like that since we moved here a year ago, any thoughts? peter at gmail dot com

Hi Pam.
The 80E dose not have a pilot. It has electronic ignition. If your boiler is not lighting it will be due to an igintion fault or a control sequence fault. Possably a faulty fan or air pressure switch. If you can give more detail about what the boiler is or is not doing i may be able to help.
