Mend BMW 318i Hi Major Problem

Hi my BMW 318i, has a major immobiliser problem?

The dash mounted red light decoder box flashes on and off as it should, when I touch the decoder with the key ring pad I hear a small bleep as it should and the red light goes out as it should, but the car engine won't start or tick over...completely dead.
The battery is not flat...any advice.

scrap the car and get a new one same thing happend with my vauxhall astra and got quoted £950 to have it sorted out and as yours is a bmw i am geussing it will be more expencive anyway
