my optima compact 8ep396a alarm panel will not set ?

My wiring is all correct and Ive tested the bell,strobe and panel bell but when i set the alarm the exit tone starts but alarm will not set.

try placing a magnet directly on to the door contact for the entry exit zone - if this works...., what is the distance between the magnet on the door and the contact in the frame (shldnt exceed 15mm) are the contacts correctly aligned....
