My Indesit DE73 dishwasher shows error code A02. When I open the door, it is full of water. It sounds like it's trying to work but it can stay like this for hours if left unattended. Any ideas please?
We had this problem. I trawled the internet and found all sorts of answers, most of which involved getting rid of the machine, however, I found one which said do not put the pans on the bottom rack. So we gave the whole machine and filter a good clean out and did not put any pans in, hey presto it works every time now, may not work for you but worked for us, Hope of some use

The Error is caused by the thermostate not touching the underside of the drum.

Thanks for that Katherine...we tried it as a few other sites had suggested that too. The error occured so frequently that we finally decided to send the dishwasher to 'Indesit Heaven' (or Hell). Glad to see the back of it and will never buy Indesit again. Very happy with my new Bosch!!

Hi I have had the same problem as have many others with this model dishwasher there are websites about it with a whole list of error codes. For this dishwasher error code Ao2 =heater relay open/short circuit or thermistor oo saftey/T/sat o/c ors/c or element machine fills and wash pump runs. What ive been doing with mine when this happens is unplugging it and lying the dishwasher down flat on the floor ,door shut and lyin on thefloor beware water will empty all over the floor ,when empty plug back in reset and fingers crossed. It works for me.Hope this helps.
