My Mintek 1030 Portable DVD Player says no disc. How to fix?

My Mintek 1030 DVD Player says "no disc" when you put in a DVD to play the movie. It's very new as I've only used it 4 separate times to watch movies. What happened? How can I fix it?

Mintek DVD players are cr4p. I have bought the MDP-1030 and after ~10 DVD plays, the video began to freeze. I returned it, and got a free replacement. Now it does the same thing. >:(
