Mend Yamaha 650 Waverunner Start Spark Fuel Checked

1991 650 waverunner won't start?

I changed the spark plugs and fuel filter. I checked with a screwdriver to see if it was getting a spark and it's not. It ran ok before I changed everything. Could the module have gone bad? And how can I tell?

I changed the spark plugs . I checked with a by removing the spark plug by removing it and grounding it againds the block to see if it was getting a spark and it's not. It ran ok before I changed everything.

You stated that you used a screwdriver to check for spark. You may have damaged the electronic ignition. They are design where they must have a spark plug or high-tension leads grounded to the engine when you turn the starter. If not, the ignition module may fail.
