Mend Potterton Suprima 30L Boiler Ignition

My potterton suprima 30L boiler will not egnite?

The boiler comes on and the fans working, But it will not ignite a flame the red light is on constant and the green light is flashing

Got a suprima 50 and just had the same issue for the lasr few weeks.... doing some research I found that their is a common issue with the controller PCB's..

.. so I shut off the gas and turned of the electircity and removed mine from the boiler yesterday and resoldered the main board connectors.. replaced and now it is all working 100% again..

New boards are £150-250 but you can get refurbs for around £50.. not sure how much labour it is to replace but I am guessing 1-2 hours at £40-£50/hour
