Hi Simon the clearances are inlet 0.20mm exhaust 0.30mm the haynes method is to adjust in the following

7 & 8 valves rocking adjust valves 1 ex 2 in
5 & 6 valves rocking adjust valves 3 ex 4 in
1 & 2 valves rocking adjust valves 8 ex 7 in
3 & 4 valves rocking adjust valves 6 ex 5 in
