Mend DSC 9448 Alarm Set

9448 alarm system, can I lower the volume?

We have a 9448 system and when we set it on our way to bed the continious high pitched squeal goes on for ages - can we either turn it off or down?

all you can do is disconnect it or buy another 16 ohm speaker with volume adjustment built in.
